# Lesson 7 零冠词

很多情况下，名词前不使用冠词，也叫做零冠词。那么哪些名词前不需要加冠词呢？

### 1 国名、城市名、地名、人名等专有名词前不加冠词
- China, America, Mexico 中国、美国、墨西哥
- Tiananmen Square 天安门广场
- London, Beijing, Paris 伦敦、北京、巴黎
- Michael 迈克尔

### 2 表示泛指或一般意义的不可数名词前，通常不加冠词
- Don't play with fire. 不要玩火。
- I need water. 我需要水。
- We can't live without air. 我们离开空气无法生存。

### 3 表示泛指的复数名词前，通常不加冠词
- Books are my best friend. 书籍是我最好的朋友。
- Children like toys. 孩子们喜欢玩具。

### 4 三餐、球类运动名词前不加冠词
- have breakfast 吃早餐
- have lunch 吃午餐
- have dinner 吃晚餐
- play basketball 打篮球
- play tennis 打网球

### 5 某些固定搭配中不需要冠词
- at night 在晚上
- at first 一开始
- at noon 在中午
- at home 在家
- at last 最后

### 6 季节、月份、节日、日期、星期等时间名词前，通常不加冠词
- in summer 在夏天
- in August 在八月
- on Monday 周一

### 7 语言和学科的名词前通常不加冠词
- speak English 说英语
- I like history. 我喜欢历史。

> **特别注意1**
> 有些名词前通常不需要加冠词，但是根据不同语境，有时也会在它们前面加上定冠词 the，但是有无 the 意义不同。

- My older sister and I both go to school. 我的姐姐和我都在上学。
- My parents go to the school every semester. They talk to our teachers.
  我的父母每个学期都去学校。他们去和我们的老师谈话。

> **特别注意2**
> 下列限定词彼此排斥，不能同时出现在名词前。
> - 冠词：a, an, the
> - 名词所有格：Linda's, Lucy's
> - 形容词性物主代词：my, your, his, her, our, their, its
> - 指示代词：this, that, these, those
> - 不定代词：some, any, both 等
